Diffused Glow is rooted in observation — a quiet act of bearing witness to light, atmosphere, and the moments that sit between presence and disappearance. Ash Holmes’ paintings explore how glow softens, disperses, and fades, capturing the threshold where memory begins to replace immediacy.
In response, The Fifth Lane created a series of handcrafted silver pendants and necklaces to accompany the exhibition. Each piece echoes the same sensibility: softened surfaces, subtle textures, and forms shaped by restraint rather than precision. Like the works on the wall, these pieces hold light briefly — reflecting, dulling, and changing with wear — becoming objects of quiet permanence for something inherently fleeting.
Designed as wearable counterparts to Diffused Glow, these pieces extend the exhibition beyond the gallery, allowing its atmosphere to be carried, worn, and lived with.
